Despite the water wings Noah is wearing in these photos, he is actually swimming without them!! Just this week, after watching Mommy teach his friend Cameron and some other kids to swim, he decided he wanted a swimming lesson! Not wanting to waste this golden opportunity, Mommy yanked the water wings off and had him diving for rings and sticks on the steps, then realizing that he was indeed swimming from one to the next I asked him to swim out to me in the middle of the shallow end, and low and behold, he DID!!! Needless to say, I was thrilled!
So we've mastered potty training and swimming this summer, if only we could get rid of those darned binkies!! I thought for a moment last night that my wish had come true when we couldn't find them, but alas super-Mom to the rescue spied them in a chair in the living room and gave them to Noah. (Yes, I know I should've just thrown them away, but I was tired and weak.)
Well, always remember that the Pennington pool is open and friends and family are welcome!!

What a little fish! Jackson LOVES the pool too. We go often and he has gotten pretty brave . . . a little too much sometimes! : )
